Driver auction and track walk prove successful for Las Vegas Chapter
There was also over 100 silent auction items for attendees to bid on, including sheet metal, autographed NASCAR memorabilia, Las Vegas hotel packages and dinner gift certificates.
On Sunday, March 2, before the start of the UAW-Dodge 400, the Las Vegas Chapter partnered with the NASCAR Foundation and the Kyle Busch Foundation to host the inaugural Track Walk at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. More than 600participants walked one lap around mile and a half track as a kick-off to the start of the Sprint Cup race. Kyle Busch served as the Grand Marshall and waved the green flag to officially start the walk.
