Thank you for your interest in applying for a grant from the Las Vegas Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities. As you may know, we are a foundation dedicated to helping children. We coordinate various events throughout the year to raise funds to distribute to worthy non-profit organizations in Las Vegas and/or southern Nevada.

To apply for a grant, the applicant organization must meet the following requirements:

• Organization must be an existing 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
• Serves children in Las Vegas and/or southern Nevada.
• Service provided to children falls within the mission of Speedway Children's Charities: educational, medical, social, and/or financial need.

We do not have limits on requested grant amounts. We do caution each applicant that we cannot guarantee full funding of the program requested. The 2010 application will be available for download in April. The application deadline is August 1, 2010. Absolutely no exceptions will be made and applications will not be accepted via fax, or email. 2009 grant recipients must complete the project evaluation form and mail separately by August 1, 2010.

The Speedway Children's Charities Board of Trustees meets in late October to make final decisions on awarding grants. You will be notified in writing whether or not your charity will receive funding in November. Grants will be distributed at the Tree Lighting Ceremony in December.
