Las Vegas Area Grants
Thank you for your interest in applying for a grant from the Las Vegas Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities. As you may know, we are a foundation dedicated to helping children. We coordinate various events throughout the year to raise funds to distribute to worthy non-profit organizations in Las Vegas and/or southern Nevada.
To apply for a grant, the applicant organization must meet the following requirements:
- Organization must be an existing 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
- Serves children in Las Vegas and/or southern Nevada.
- Service provided to children falls within the mission of Speedway Children's Charities: educational, medical, social, and/or financial need.
NEW THIS YEAR!!! We have two workshops to help our Partners feel more comfortable with the Grant Process! We will be having a Beginner Workshop June 15th for all those new to this opportunity, or those that have been declined in the past. Those with completed Applications can come to our Partner Workshop on August 15th. This will be for those that have specific questions about their application, or want to turn in the packet. These workshops will take place at noon at Lotus Broadcasting located at 8755 West Flamingo Road.

We do caution each applicant that we cannot guarantee full funding of the program requested. The 2016 Grant Application will be available for download in late-May.
The application must be postmarked by August 31, 2016. Applications will not be accepted via fax, email or hand delivered. Absolutely no exceptions will be made.
The Speedway Children's Charities Board of Trustees meets in October to make final decisions on awarding grants. You will be notified in writing whether or not your charity will receive funding in November. Grants will be distributed at the Tree Lighting Ceremony in December.
