How did it get to be November already?  Seems like yesterday I was poolside at a summer BBQ!  The holidays are officially upon us and boy do we ever have a busy event lineup.

Gift of Lights kicks-off the busy holiday season as Las Vegas Motor Speedway transforms into the North Pole.  The drive-thru spectacular opens nightly at 5 p.m. November 19 through January 2.  Admission is $15 per vehicle with partial proceeds benefiting the Las Vegas Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities.

NASCAR Champions Week is coming to town the first week of December.  The week’s festivities will commence with the second annual Chasers for Charity Fanfest on Wednesday, Dec. 1 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.  Be up close and personal with the 12 Chase drivers as they walk the red carpet before they face-off in a Family Feud-style game show.

Rope some strikes and wrangle some prizes at the third annual WNFR Celebrity Bowling Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 4 at the Gold Coast Hotel & Casino.  Rodeo and auto racing collide at this family fun event when Speedway Children’s Charities and Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund partner up.  Registration is only $100 for a team of four and is open now.

The annual Tree Lighting & Grant Distribution ceremony is Tuesday, Dec. 7.  The Las Vegas Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities will distribute $250,000 to 44 deserving children’s organizations in Southern Nevada.  This event concludes the 2010 season, but our job is never done.  We are gearing up for a great 2011 season kicking-off with NASCAR Weekend March 4-6 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Cheers!
